Delete Your HackLens Account
You can delete your HackLens account at any time. This will permanently remove your email address and all data associated with your account (preferences, subscribed topics, synced bookmarks).
⚠️ Account deletion is irreversible.
1) Delete Your Account From the App (recommended)
- Open the HackLens app.
- Go to Settings → Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion request.
Once you confirm, your account will be permanently deleted immediately.
2) Request Deletion by Email (if you cannot access the app)
If you can't access the app anymore (lost device, app uninstalled, etc.), you can request deletion by email.

Request account deletionImportant: For security reasons, we can only process deletion requests sent from the same email address associated with the user account.
If you can't email from that address, include evidence (e.g., screenshot of profile) and we will guide you through identity verification.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your email and authentication identifiers
- User preferences and settings
- Subscribed topics
- Synced bookmarks/favorites
- Any account-related records in our Supabase database
What Happens After Deletion?
- Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed
- The deletion cannot be undone
- If you register again later, a new account will be created with no restored data
- Uninstalling the app does not delete your account
